A3 1.9 TDi Quattro N/S/R tyre wear issue

		Hi guys,
This is my 1st post on the forum after just joining & wondered if anyone could help me please..?
I've just replaced the rear brakes on my 2002 Audi A3 quattro & noticed the rear left tyre has alarmingly worn bald on the inside edge! That will explain the excessive road noise I get on smooth surfaces..
Now, on inspecting all the bushes for that nearside, the only one I could see looking a bit mullered was the upper lateral outer bush as the connecting arm seemed to be twisted at the bush end more than the offside..
After popping the wheels back on & with the car off the ground, the nearside wheel is hanging down more than the offside, which is nice & level..
The rear springs and dampers are good, so I'm wondering if it's just the lateral arm bush that is causing this?
Is it going to be a case of replacing both the upper & lower lateral arm bushes, inside & out for the nearside.. or do I have to replace the offside ones at the same time, even tho' tyre wear was nice & even this side??
Would really appreciate any advice on this fellers.. Cheers!;)

		 Things have got worse..
2 new tyres on the rear, all balanced then I notice when dropping into a roundabout or sharp corner, it feels like the tyre rubbing on the inner arches or ABS coming on, but it's causing a bumping feeling resulting in understeer? It's also following ridges in the road like a Mother!
I tried it with the ESP off & it seemed to be better but not pushed it yet to see if it stops the "grabbing" when cornering at speed..
Again, any advice you guys, Cheers..

Sounds like safer not to drive until sorted, probably best to have 4 wheel alignment checked to see where problem lies.

Found a great bunch of Audi/VW enthusiasts running a back street garage in Leeds where I booked a 4-wheel alignment.. Told the main man there the probs & so he put it on the MOT ramp & showed me the front wishbone bushes were mullered!
2 new wishbones ordered with track end joints & wheel alignment check after for next Friday.. £295 to save me arsing about on a dirty floor, which isn't too bad I thought?
Nice to find a highly recommended garage that are part of the Dub scene :D
