Error 01486- Cant get it cleared

Hi,

I put my car (mark 5 GT sport TDi) into a garage last week to get a new clutch. When they reconnected the battery abs light came on. Long story short i put in in to my regular garage today and they established the error was 01486. due to a lack of huge empty car parks for my garage to use during the day they advised that I looked at the Ross tech video and followed it exactly to try and clear the light. So I did this tonight, attempted it for well over an hour in a variety of ways including disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. I still cannot get the light cleared.

does anyone have any advice on how I ( or a garage) can get this cleared?

Apologies if this is covered elsewhere , but all suggested solutions are not working.
