Audi A4 (B5) 1.9tdi Estate Instrument Cluster SNAFU

Evening all,

On my A4 1.9tdi (B5) the instrument cluster seems to have a fault wherein the gauges do not work (Revs, fuel, temp & speedo) and a central locking indicator appears in yellow. The fault code it is kicking out in VCDS Lite are as follows:

Can anyone suggest an easy fix? or is it a salvage / new instrument cluster required? If this is the case is a trip to a main ******* required or can it be recoded using VCDS or similar?
