70-80 For Best Mpg
Idrove my TDI 130 Sport at in between 50 an 60 mph and i got 62 mpg out of it and thats after a remapp but to be honest i never drive it like that usually i was just curious
wheres that pal:beerchug:
hmm,if its economy youre after,id suggest a polo?130 passats not exactly famed for fuel economy, regardless of claimed figures?i speak as an owner of 1:aargh4:
With the greatest of respect; no way, easylife. It's one of the most verstile and surprisingly economical cars I've owned/driven. An easy 50mpg without trying on the Edinburgh/Leeds run. Car loaded and not hanging about either, I may add. Much more if trying. Great mid-range...
Only complaints are the bondesque smoke-screen when 'giving it the berries' and body control seemingly developed by P&O...

fair comment, but mines tiptronic,so 38 average mpg on comp at end of a tank?thats after a remapp to 170bhp,before that it was 33?mine starts a smokin when givin it some when fuel filter air filter due.this can be a couple of months before service due?but after one....sweet again:beerchug:
38mpg?! GULP!
Oh well, bet it's still a great drive. 170bhp? Niiiiice. That should give the ESP something to do...
