2002 A6 Rhd Comfort control module.
Hi.
Does anyone know the location of the Comfort control module on the Audi A6 2.5 allroad 2002 right hand drive estate. i have an issue with interior lights working whenever they please and the central locking switch on the drivers door wont lock the car when we are in it . so one thinks this module needs replacing.
Just to add is it a big job.
Thanks in advance. everyone.

It is under the passengers side floor covering where you will find it swimming in two inches of water with a rotten red/black multiple power feed.

This picture is stored on my PC under the heading “Audi Allroad fish pond”, what isn't very clear is the 1 inch of water and completely sodden foam.

The incontinence ;) unit suffers from corrosion at this plug, where the constant live power pins are located which are red/blue, not the red/black as I said.

This is called Q11, power comes down a 1.5-mm core from fuse 38 in the dash side and goes to pin 11 of plug 1 (black) as well as many other points such as the siren and ultrasonic unit. There is also another red/blue multi connection down there with a 1-mm core power feed wire called Q12 and the power is from fuse 14 and goes to pin 7 of plug 1 (black) and again, many other connections. Both these connections are described as " Positive (+) connection (30 a), in electric window/central locking and door contact switch wiring harness”.
