Hi there any anyone help me im after replacing my headlight bulbs im something to make my car more modern as I have yellowish bulbs at the moment. There are so many different types on sale I was wondering what other people have used and if they where any gd as the ones I bought a few months ago have made no difference, my car is a 2010 Passat Estate and the bulbs are H7

I went from those sad Van Helsing carriage lamps that VW give you as OEM, to Osram Nitebreakers. Excellent! But my offside one only lasted eight months. Now on Philips Extravision. They're brighter but with a lower colour temperature so less white, more yellow.
If you want more light output -- somewhere between these and HIDs (where you run the risk of MOT fail) then go for the latest LEDs. Tahir1 in the UK Passats forum does them at a good price
