air blowers not working following loss of coolant

Hi.

My a3 lost all its coolant yesterday. The pipe into the fan had come off and clip vanished. This has now been reattached but I have no fan blowing air on me in the car. The window blowers appear to work but the others do not.

I have driven it for about 20 miles like this and the coolant levels have not dropped.

Could this have cuased the pipe to come off in the first place or is it as a result of the previous issue?

This is just an inconvenience I think rather than a risk to my engine?
