Hello everyone,
Am in a bit of bother, my own doing i am afraid.
I bought the original update disk 5570 and tried updating it. On the forst disk i got this error MMo Hi/MMi/Epatch.bin eroor 176 from device. Clever sod that i am, went to the bootloader and installed to version 5150, my original version being 0900. the disk updated successfully to 5150 and being so happy tried updated to 5570 thru the bootloader again, it installed the disk and rebooted itself, but then came the calamity. The whole MMi system went blank with the pop up screen up and all the buttons dead and nothing responded after that. I have diagnosed the whole car but it wont connect to the control unit, telephone, navigation and the cd or radio. Would appreciate any help in finding out whether the control unit is fried or is there any way i can bring it back to lifebefore a dreaded visit to AUDI.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and couple of beers to boot.
