Signs of a failing MAF ???

What are the signs of a failing MAF?

it flags a fault code sometimes, or the live data readings go all to pot.

It would probably be easier to ask what symptoms you are experiencing that make you suspect the MAF is at fault.

If it's anything like the PD setup on my Galaxy, disconnect it, if it runs better the MAF is goosed.

they dont fail, not replaced a maf since 1994 or do you mean milf :beerchug:

I can assure you they most definitely do, well they do on the PD engine Galaxy anyway.
