Paint code(s) or paint for 20" Rotor wheels
Does anyone please have the official paint codes for 20" Rotor Wheels, as supplied (I believe) mainly on Black Edition models? Or even better a source for the paints?
The wheels are the two tone matt finish and I have managed to source the darker grey colour which is used on the main part of the wheels but am having trouble matching the lighter matt aluminium on the outside of the rims. I have slightly kerbed one of mine (horribly easy to do with the 20" as others will know!) and as I own a small compressor and airbrush I will fix it myself...but the aluminium seems a particularly tricky one to match. Have tried a couple of aluminium wheel paints that I had lurking in the garage (Wurth and Simoniz) but they are considerably brighter than the Audi standard.
I've hunted around t'internet but so far without any joy. Can someone help please?

Is it paint though I am wondering as I thought that the 20" Rotors were machined and polished on the outers and to refinish them requires them to be re-machined which can only be done once. I too have some scuffs from too narrow multi-storey car parks built when cars were much smaller and I was thinking of trying to polish out the marks?

Or are the outsides perhaps diamond cut and just matt lacquered?

Picked these details up previously. Expecting the day when I might need them.
The arms are finished in "Titanuim" Paint,
Ends/Rims "Diamond Cut" on a lathe.
Paint code is : L8AU
Colour name : TITANOPTIK/GRANIT
Paint system : STANDOHYD BASECOAT
Coat : 2 COAT
BLENDING IN RECOMMENDED
APPLY STANDOCRYL 2K CLEAR SUPER MATT FINISH
Note: entire wheel finished in Matt lacquer.

Oh. And never mind kerbing them: I am dreading the first tyre change/puncture; where they are surely gonna get ravaged.

I had two fronts changed on mine, and asked the garage to be super-careful because the rims are laquered diamond-cut metal finish, not painted. They fitted the new tyres without a single mark, so I was a happy boy! I have so far avoided all kerbs but I'm dreading making a costly mistake. I understand that if the diamond cut surfaces get damaged the wheels need to be re-finished on a lathe, and there are only a finite number of times this can be done...

Guys, FFS get some Alloy Gators on your wheels. They have saved my wheels a few times now, best £50 you'll spend!
