2001 A6 Quattro Automatic gearbox problem....help needed asap!

Hey guys

Basically my drivers footwell flooded god knows when and it resulted with my Geabox losing power, she is stuck in third gear. Audi did a dignostic check and said i needed a new gearbox but she is drivable and i was arguing it wasnt that.

Sent her for another dignostic check in a geabox specialist garage and they found that the ECU for the gearbox is completely destryoed by water as it had flooded the footwell and leaked into the black box.

Ive looked EVERYWHERE for an ECU to match the one i need but nothing, none on ebay, no breakers have any and Audi have said it would cost nearlly a grand to order one through them, which i just dont have right now.

Does anyone know anywhere at all i can find one? Its a 2.4 2001 plate A6.

Call BBA-Reman and speak with them They may be able to remain the one you have. Have you had the plenum drains cleared and car dried out. Where is the ECU now. Regards Peter
