mirror iphone 5 to rns e

hi i have been trawling the net trying to get a definitive answer to a question. does anyone know for sure if it is possible to mirror an iPhone 5 to a mk2 rns e? it would be great if i could hard wire the iPhone to the rns e and watch things like netflix , bt sport , youtube over a 3g network instead of being limited to say digital tv or a dvd player.

I'm aware that i would need a multimedia interface adapter , however that is all i know lol. anyones help or advice would be very grateful.
surely this has been done before. most devices hook up to tv's and laptops so why not an rns e. i can't find any threads anywhere about this.
