Valance Wrap & Plasti-dip trial.

Hi Guys,

After body repairs to front and rear bumpers I finally got round to finishing the rear valance wrap with the same carbon effect vinyl used on the rest of the trim. Also did the front plate holder to complete the grill and added new plates with GB for next months trip to Spa for the F1. Still to decide whether to change the front badges over, have a black s-line and black rings but thinking it's good the way it is?

Next up is the centre console in brushed titanium and perhaps the mirrors in satin black. Then after that wheels are off for caliper painting, unsure what colour to go for though, probs just black unless I go with black(ish) refurb on the alloys, with red painted calipers?

I took the spare out and gave it 4 coats of black Plasti-dip, purely to get an idea if i'll go for a proper respray, still to get it on the car and the photos below don't include the dried matt finish, doh! Just thought they may be of some interest to some and I'll add more in the next few days.

Love the look of the valance now as it's done. Very subtle until up close and I really like the lines created around the exhaust, it also covers the panel gaps for the retractable tow bar better than before too.

Nice job, looks better than I thought it would, how difficult is the vinyl to apply.

The diffuser bit looks good, not to sure on the wheels or the plate holder though.

Like the valance, im picking up my carbon dipped rear diffuser on tuesday. cant fit until the blade comes (stupid audi accessories). the dipped look gives a shiny finsih like you would get from factory
