VCDS seatbelt and start/stop

Hi,

I have a 2011 A8 3.0tdi auto.

I have disabled the seatbelt chime because i dont always like to wear my seatbelt.

When I dont wear my seatbelt then the auto start/stop doesnt work ... this isnt a major issue as I wear my belt most of the time but it just niggles.

Is there a way to make the auto start/stop work without the seat belt plugged in?

I'd say the seatbelt is linked to the start stop as I think on various loan cars when I was moving the car in/out of the driveway the SS didn't work.

Easy way to try is to re-enable the seatbelt chime and see if the SS starts working again.

The S/S is working when I plug the seat belt in. I dont think the chime affects anything other than it allows me to not plug the belt in and not be annoyed by the noise.

I really wanted to know if there is a VCDS code that allows the S/S to work with the seat belt unplugged.
