superb 1.9 tdi 2003 glow plug flashing and engine workshop flashing any ideas?
after filling up i got glow plug symbol flshing and engine workshop came on, this goes off for days then comes back on. car starts normal and seems to run fine. Any ideas? i have read stuff about dpf and filing up with expensive oil but didnt think my car had a dpf with being old . anyway thanks in advance for any help and suggestions.

You need a fault code scan done as a priority ;)

Correct your car is too old for a DPF to be fitted,
check the brake lights are working correctly as the brake light switch is a weak link, other than that we can only guess, so as Chris says you need a diagnostic scan doing.

it was brake light switch cost 12 quid easy to fit problem solved thanks for your help
