hi guys, i have been viewing your forums for quite a long time now, but finally decided to register!!
i like it

Just a few general questions.

Insurance: Im a 20year old male!! i have 3 years no claims, with churchill.
I purchased my Audi A3 last october, its the 1.9tdi red eye, 1998, (obvoilsy not as new as some of your a3's but i couldnt afford much more and i had to have an audi) i paid £4000 with 75k on the clock.
Im insured with churchill and i pay £78 a month fully comp, with an excess of £250.
I didnt know if you guys knewof any other companys that are audi specialists in insurance etc etc

And out of general nosy-ness how much do you all pay for your insurance.

Audi Owners Club: I googled audi owners club, and i went to the first link, it was £25 a year, with the magazine AUDInce, included, i was wondering if you were part of it and what its like if you were members.
I have always loved Audi's and as soon as i could afford one i bought one. and i wanted to be part of the owners club, and go to audi rallies etc etc.

im 19 i bought my a3 last week, the best company by far and away is quinns, i have no years no claims or anything, and i got quoted 1100 fully comp on a 1.6 sport

My insurance is about half the price of yours, but then I am twice as old (and a bit) :p

Owners club. Was in one for two and a half years, though not the Audi one. I think it depends on the people and you. I got nothing out of being in it except a discount on my insurance, which for the first year of owning the car was worthwhile. However as I never attended many meets it turned out that apart from a magazine it was not worth it.

For £25 I would give it go personally, not much to loose in a year if it turns out to be naf.

hey im 21 3years no claims in october, currently pay just over £1k, thats with tesco insurance fully comp. got a quote with another company called directline and they have quoted me £681.45

I use Adrian Flux. They managed to match the cheapest online deal i could get, and that was thru Admiral.
