2013 Audi A6 Saloon

Hi all,

New to audis and previously had the VW Passat CC.

Car came with Auto Hold but I am having a few issues with it. On my Passat it just worked. Push the button once and it worked everytime even after turning off the engine.

The Audi I have to push the button everytime I start the car. Is this normal behaviour or am I missing something or is something wrong with the car?

Welcome to the world of Audi and enjoy the car. You will find a wealth of information and help here. The Auto Hold function does need resetting after each start so yours is working as designed, as irritating as it may be.

I must say that is a rather stupid design fault then! Got so used to it just being on in the VW i keep rolling back at every junction.

Fairly sure someone on these forums mentioned a burning smell when it was on all the time and dealer advised not to?
