difference between 100 and 130 tdi's?

But I would like to know how VW have increased the power - is it different injectors / turbo / mapping - or a different set up completely?

I think they are a stronger block,Bigger injector nozzles and a bigger garret turbo.

It is stronger all round, with a vnt17 turbo instead of a vnt15, and injectors which will flow much more fuel. The engine throughout is tougher - block, bottom end, all bits basically.
