I have been considering a remap on my 2.7 but know that the major downside is always going to be the clutch going soon after. However, since the 2.7 and 3.0 have alot of shared components, does this mean they use the same clutch and DMF?
If they do this would mean the measly 180BHP my car produces is well below what the clutch can handle, so as long as its a gentle remap I should not have any issues.
Any ideas?
AFAIK yours 2.7 Multitronic as not Quattro???... 3.0 Tiptronic=no DMF... has a torque converter below spec.sheet, for multitronic google SSP_228_d1.pdf

Mines a manual because Im too tight to loose fuel economy on an auto :D

So yours can't be a 0A3 as not Quattro Manual??
In boot/service log data sticker what transmission code??? (this will be different from above as those are like models of gearbox)
