When I start the car the roof warning light flashes. I have been able to open and close the roof with no problems.
Warranty ran out 4 weeks ago, took the car to the dealer and they say that I need a new control unit. Audi have agreed to pay for the control unit but I have to pay for the labour - which seems to be the equivalent of a day's work - seems a bit excessive to me.
Any ideas if they have diagnosed it correctly?

i think i have the same problem. i have audi a3 cabrio 2009...i put inside the system from kufatec(when i push the key 3 times the roof is open or close)when the car go to the servise they upgrade the system of roof and after i have the same problem...flashing the alarm when i open the door and when i m going to the route.
i change baterry but the problem is still here.
today i desarm the system of kufatec and i will see if i have problem
