Free Coil Pack Replacement
This topic was well covered by a number of threads early in the year, but I’ve just had my A4 2.0TFSi done, and thought a reminder might be useful.
The campaign, called 28E9, covers a wide range of petrol engines across various models - A3, A4, A6, A8, Q7 etc, and has been running since March.
If, like me, you rarely contact Audi Service, you may be unaware of it. It’s a campaign, not a recall, so Audi don’t contact owners, but if you contact them for any reason, their system flags up if your vehicle is affected. The coil packs are worth about £40 each (one for each cylinder), and the work takes an hour or so, but it really is all free!
Re: Free Coil Pack Replacement
mine was done around a year ago thanks to previous posts here.....otherwise I'd never have known.
I wasn't having any problems but that's not the point.
And yes....it was completely free of charge.....remember to take the service book because they note that it's been done.
