Re: navigation plus
Many/most A6s were fitted with a single DIN radio (although they put a wider front on it). However, Naviplus requires a double DIN slot. So what you have a is a double DIN Naviplus bodged into what was a single DIN space.
So, two ways you can go...
1. Find a double DIN A6 in a scrappy and get the proper double DIN cage and the different trim/air con control unit that you'll need. While you are there, get the cup/coin holders and hazard switch that shouldn't have been touched
2. Bin the Naviplus. Find a single DIN A6 in a scrappy. Get the cup/coin holders, hazard switch, and radio-concealing flap (and single DIN radio?)

Re: navigation plus
thanks for your reply, but either way does it matter that the plastic housing is damaged behind the satnav where the din goes or would this need replaced? also it still has air/con unit in it with a glass air freshener on top wedging the satnav up.

Re: navigation plus
Post a few pictures up of what you are dealing with. It's IMPOSSIBLE for us to know exactlay what has been bodged/broken by someone else.
Everything in a car can be replaced or repaired - you just need to know what you are dealing with...

Yes, please post a picture. It will make it easier to help (plus we can have a good laugh at someone else's bodging).
I'd replace the plastic housing too and do a proper job.

Pictures in the dark?! To be honest, if you have decided on RNSE fitment then your best course of action is to remove it all and see what is broken etc.
Follow one of the guides if you are unsure (google will throw some up)
With regards to selling it, you'll be lucky IMHO as there is almost zero demand for them. They're 10 years old and very poor units. You might get £50+ on a good day.
