Control Arms

I need to replace the front Lower control arms on my A6.
Are these something that would be a relatively easy DIY job to replace or would it be one of those jobs thats easy when you know how or a right pain if you dont.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Did one recently myself - pretty straight forward. You'll need a ball joint splitter and some of the bolts were pretty tight.

Thanks for the reply, i ended up leaving it to the professionals,
maybe i might chance doing the other side so when they need doing which probably wont be too long the way things are going.
