Hi
I recently had retro cobra rear sensors fitted to my A4 Avant B7. They have suddenly stopped working and I would like to be able to test the unit. The control box was installed in the passenger side behind the trim. I cant find any thread showing me how to remove the trim to get at the box. any help much appreciated !

if the trims are fixed the same as the b6 then pull away the boot seal and this should allow the rear trims to be pulled off the fixing clips, find a thread for removing a rear bumper
The B7 Avant is a bit more complicated than that. This guide includes info on removing boot trims and bumper:

Or the Haynes Manual has good procedures for these operations. It advises removing the rear seat bench and side padding, which would help a lot when reinstalling the side trim panel.
If you are lucky, your problem may just be a loose connection on the buzzer unit.
