1.9 tdi chipped black smoke

Please help!

I have a 1.9 TDI chipped to 160 bhp. Recently it started smoking excessively. Clouds of black smoke when I press the acceleration pedal a bit harder. Any suggestions please?

Your remap will be pumping in more fuel than it can burn, the excess comes out as black smoke. Its how you get more power from a derv. More fuel = more power. One way of reducing it is to put more air in, a bigger intake etc.

sounds like its over fueling, and this is not good for your engine. who remapped your vehicle?
