2.5 tdi quattro starting issues

does any1 know why my car may take a while to start, glow plug light seems to be normal but occasionally the car has to crank over for ages to start?

could well be the fuel pump timing, worth getting someone with vag-com to check it

If its been like this for a long time it may be badly timed from the last cambelt change .The timing seems to take a lot of care .Watched my sons being done recentlyand it was nearly two cogs out thats why it was abad starter now its 100% everytime
