Isofix

Hello All,

I wonder could anyone tell me does the a4 2005 onwards have the isofix system as standard.

Yes they do. Think all B7s came with ISOFIX mountings...

I'm not sure if the very early ones did- I do not recall having them on my 55 reg SE, but my 56 reg s-line does.

It is not obvious at first glance as they don't have the little box outs like on the newer B8 shape marking the position of the hoops- I have read it is a pretty straightforward retrofit if the car doesn't have it fitted though.

My 05 S-Line doesn't have ISOFIX......

I've been looking for the ISO fix in my 55 B7 Avant, can't feel them anywhere. Maybe they're not fitted in mine.

looking at a 1.9tdi a4 for my wife and just wanted to be sure about the isofix before i buy anything. this is all new to me as i didn't even know what isofix was a few months ago :biglaugh:

I'm 99% sure the bolt holes are there on all B7s, but the brackets are not unless factory opted.
