Boot Issues

Hi, I have a problem with my boot which seems to only open with the key...My electronic release switch makes a noise like it want's to open but I have to use the Key all the time. I was thinking maybe it's the actuator that's not playing ball. If anyone has had or has the same problem please can you let me know as it's doing my head in.

If you have the boot lock in the wrong place it won't unlock at all without the key. Try turning it through 90 degrees.

This was working fine then the mechanism just stopped working. :confused:
Preston Audi says it will cost me upwards of £200 to fix? :(
