Brake pad warning light

Hi all.

My A4 has just started throwing a brake pad warning light on the DIS at me today, the rear pads are new, as in less than a month (caliper ate one side as it was siezed!) although i dont think they have sensors (cant remember!), the disks are less than a 1000 miles old as they were changed before i bought it, and the front pads are fine as i stripped and cleaned them at the same time as doing the rears due to some squeaking!

Now i thought the sensor wires looked fine when i had the brakes in bits, ive checked the fluid level and its fine.

Are my sensor wires foobared?

the rear pads have no sensors,remove the contacts on the front pads and bridge the terminals,to help find out which side it is,and or if the fault is with the wires on the pads

same problem here... rear brakes are not sensored bud... later found out it was the wire in the pads....

Sorted mine, one of the clips on the wire wasnt clicking properly, so i wedged it, cable tied it and sprayed a load of silicone connector spray in to make sure!
