EGR cooler bypass/delete ??
Hi guys,
I see its pretty comon to remove the vac pipe and disable the EGR system. I have a possible leaking EGR cooler in my 2000 115PD Sharan, if i remove the EGR vacuum pipe..Can i bypass the EGR cooler too so i dont lose anymore coolant ? I want to do this to prove the point before i spend silly money on a new cooler..or not even replace it if its not needed :approve:
Cheers
Elton
Re: EGR cooler bypass/delete ??
Can't see any reason why you couldn't just link the hoses together with a coupler. All it would do is reduce you coolant requirements a bit.
