Gamma 5 radio unit with phone handsfree not working when ignition is off.

Hi

I have just fitted a Sony HCB-400 bluetooth phone handsfree with a cable (HCE-16) that enables the phone audio through the stereo speakers. Everything appears to work as advertised when the ignition is on, and is millions of times better than using the inbuilt kit speaker, however after removing the ignition key:

- I cannot switch the radio on, only the display comes on with "phone" displaying on the left-hand side indicating the radio has a phone call in progress when there isn't one.

- The radio security flashing LED does not switch on, and my indicators dont flash when engaging the central locking because of this.

Has anyone else out there experienced anthing like this and can anyone possibly tell me what is wrong??

Operation was ok when using the handsfree's own speaker that came with the hcb-400 but the sound wanst too clear and gsm noise cut through on the audio path, hence the switch to using the gamma audio system.
