Audi A4 Avant Best Servicing Costs

Hey folks, my motor is due its next service (100 miles or 358 days)
Currently done 117k but told by Audi next service is major service one which is 120k

Any reasons why i have 100 miles left to service interval yet car has only done 117k up til now but its now due for its 120k :1zhelp:

I have been quoted £269.00 as it is an older vehicle (discount apparently)

Are Audi prematurely programming my car to come i nearly so it fits in with their year end? :D

Any one now of another local Audi specialist (none Audi dealer) - in Staffs/Shropshire Area, where I could get a better or equal service?

Any pointers appreciated

Not sure, think its yearly is that what the 358 days on the DIS means.
will have to look at the service book.

Although it would look to be every 20k, the last service was 99k

20k = variable/longlife

The reason why it's earlier than you expected is because it adapts to the driving style iirc. Long motorway journeys everyday equals more miles between service. More townish driving/stop start driving equals more wear on the engine and thus needs servicing more often.

Well car went for service but not at Audi (please dont stone-heckle-spit at me)

Anyway, workplace has a deal with chambers of commerce which in turn has as special deal with In N Out.

Audi 120k MAJOR service (discounted because of age) £269.00
(2 weeks before they could book me in - friendly guys though)

• Oil and filter change
• Air filter
• Fuel Filter

In N Out service -Should have been £205.00 because of discount £156.00:beerchug:
Drove in 2 hours after a telephone call.
All VAG stuff I have been assured

• Oil and filter change
• Engine Flush
• Air filter
• Fuel Filter
• Top up Brake fluid
• Top up Power Steering fluid
• Filled up washer bottle (it was empty)
• 15 point safety check (Practically an MOT)
• Free Coffee (had a few cups)
• Free Wifi (managed to watch a movie)

Only issue which they said will resolve on my return - after they reset service - it now displays 2 dashes followed by Miles and 2 dashes followed by Days.

Audi recommend service every 10k after 120k.

Saved enough to get my tow bar now

Don't worry about the 2 dashes. The car needs to relearn. Check the service reminder in a few days.
