Injector failures - some info required please

Hi all,

I would just like any information you could provide regarding the piezo injector failures on certain diesel engines. I am trying to establish how common it has been and still is and also which vehicles / engines were affected, has it just been Audi or VW's also ?

I know it has happened to me and a few more people on here but I'm hoping to guage the scale of the problem.

Is it something that people with a certain engine can virtually expect to happen at some stage ?
