Re: Sunroof Problems !!!!
Never hear that one before. With the ignition off it should not do that so I think you will be OK but keep an eye on it.
Re: Sunroof Problems !!!!
Hi
The thing is Crasher, it was when I took the key out of the ignition that it happened. I am not a mechanic or anything, but i thought it may have been something to do with the comfort module ( CCM ) ??? I am not sure if this covers the sunroof. With me swithing it on and back off again, seemed to cure it hopefully ( fingers crossed )
Re: Sunroof Problems !!!!
The convenience system is only responsible for sunroof total closure when the ignition is off. The conv unit on the Golf 4 is very reliable until it gets wet so unless you have had water appear on the driver’s floor I think the conv unit itself should be OK. As I said, I have never known a sunroof do what you describe. Possibly a fault code read of the convenience unit would show an issue, possibly showing code

Re: Sunroof Problems !!!!
Hi
Checked the footwells this-morning and no signs of water or dampness.
The sunroof hasn't behaved like that again since yesterday.
Have the 3m tape and plastic sheeting on standby.
Thanks for the reply
