Hi all
I have an exhaust blow which I have traced to the rear end of the catalytic converter, it is blowing out of a hole that looks like something has come off
it is not the lambda sensor as that is at the front any ideas on what this is.

Hello, I realise you asked for advice a long time ago but no-one responded . Well I can say I have exactly the same issue. The garage put it on the hoist and the mechanic looked at the rear of the catalytic convertor and saidit's blowing from here but cannot say what might have gone in the fitted sleeve. He suggested it might be for a test probe to analyse the workings of theta but not sure. Headed a "bit of weld" to seal it up but I would like to know what should go in there??? Any ideas??
@johnnybe, you will get a better result if you start your own post in the model appropriate platform and include the cars VIN.
