RNS-E Bluetooth coding

Please help!!!!

Hi everyone

Ive just fitted a OEM Bluetooth kit to my 2005 1.9tdi A6 Final Editions.

I'm having a little trouble getting the RNS-E to acknowledge the Bluetooths existence! Plus my Vag-com knowledge is pretty ropey!

basically i have fitted the unit, plugged in vag com, gone to 77 and pulled up the telephone (seems to know its there) but the RNS-E still says telephone not installed....

Do i need to alter the coding on the head unit? if so where do i go for that?

Any info you can give me would be greatly appreciated!

After i'd spent a little more time looking at the coding i realized that i needed to go to the radio function and tell the head unit that there was a bluetooth box connected.......after that it all seemed to work, well it did after i turned off the ignition and off went and had a cup of tea (thinking ive failed) and then came back to the car!
