blowing hot

hi i drive a mk4 golf 1.6. Really nice car but a couple months ago it started over heating (the fan relay relay switch i think was faulty)
so i got it repaired but after that i also realise my (climate control) aircondition was not working properly. The heating works fine but the cooling doesnt. Since then i had it serviced and re-gassed still nothing. Any suggestion would really be helpful..cause the summer is close and its nice to have... thanks

hi my climate control switch for econ seems to be operating backwords when econ is on the air is warm and when i switch i off the revs dip and the air comes out icey cold :1zhelp: have you any ideas what that could be cheers STE
