Hi Chucky,
Just curious as to why you want to reset the ECU. As far as I know it just monitors the engine and adjusts the fuel for the conditions based on feedback from the sensors. I.E..even if u totally reset it..its just going to do what it did before again...as there are so many different variables that control how much fuel you burn. E.g. Quality of fuel/Octane/Cetane, Air temperature/pressure/humidity, number of revs, oil temperature, tyre inflation yada yada yada...
What car is it? Mileage? Fuel type?

Tried to reset ECU since I have been experiencing 26 mpg around town. Just replaced MAF and no difference really. I have a 2009 A4 2.0 TDI 143 S line Multi. It seems as though its running too rich and doing about 50 miles per tenner, which includes some 20 mile cruises!

Sorry mate, didn't mean to hurt your feelings.....!:beerchug:
I've only driven one tdi, and that was a courtesy car from audi, and during my 2 days and 130 miles, probably got around 36-44 mpg, and i dont drive with fuel in mind.....!!!!!!! Seems to me like you have an issue- get it looked at.
I had mine all over Scotland last week, and didnt hang back on the quiet and deserted roads. Had loads of fun and got around 350 miles to a tank, easy. Taking it easy coming back down the A9 i managed 38-40mpg by sitting at 60, bang on (lots of camera vans).
