Front Fog lamps 2007 passat sport

Hi there,

The dealership quoted me £100 to replace a front fog lamp - admittedly I haven't tried anywhere yet else to see if I can get it much cheaper.

Does anyone know if they're easy to replace by yourself or is the reason that they are expensive because they are difficult to fit?

Is it the bulb or the foglamp unit that is broken

I'd think buld would be very easy remove the 2 screws and the facia should just pop off the reveal the fog lamp unit. Like wise you'd do the same for the unit itself

I'm picking it up from the Garage in a short while so I'll check if it's the bulb or the unit

It's easy, one side has a screw to remove from the grille and then pull out, the other simply pulls out.
