Where does this go?

I recently took a look under my bonnet and noticed a loose sensor hanging off a wire. I looked at the part number and did a quick google and it seems to be a outside temperature sensor. (PART NUMBER: 1J0973702). It's a mk5 golf. I took a look under the car arround the passenger side but couldn't find where this little bugger clips on to. However my temperature reading on my dash seems to work fine. Any idea where this thing goes. I don't have peace on my mind knowing there something unplugged.

hello mate it should just clip up between the front bumper and air con rad, thats where mines clipped

if you remove the centre lower grill and N/S corner grill you should be able to clip it back in place bud

Sorry if this is stupid. Is N/S the UKs passenger side?
I never use n/s or o/s. Always drivers side or passenger side lol

Oh does the plug go into the bumper section or on the actual car? I looked at a old bumper in my shed n couldn't see anywhere it'll clip onto

yes n/s is passenger side and o/s drivers side, behind the bumper isa carrier and it clips to that mate
