From what I can see there is 1mm difference in the offset, the A3 is ET46 and the A6 ET 45 and that is all although from home I can’t see the counter

It has 225 40 18 alloys

I have a set of alloys from a 2001 A6 TDI , they are 16"

The 1K prefix of the part number shows it was used firstly on the PQ35 platform where a Golf is a type 1K, I covered the unveiling of the Golf 5 on press

no its factory, golf 5 number is same for the mk4 , i think they removed the old mk4 kit as used to come with the big nut.

Q7 Front Air Suspension Level Sensor

I have just had a warning come up for air suspension. VCDS says its the front Right Sensor.

They fail if the car is very low, is it? You could try the original style boot rather than the Golf 5 version you have been using, Febi still sell it

Is there a better part then the genuine P/O/S inner cv 1k0498201d boot that tears in one way or another that only last 3-4 years max.

Is it likely an EGR cooler fault then rather than a sensor or the EGR valve itself (or is it all one unit?),
