    Thankyou. I don't currently have VCDS but i do have Carista and it claims to have the option to force a regen. Could it explain the sluggish acceleration

    We will only fit new VDO, Bosch or Delphi (as appropriate) after many bad experiences with recons.

    It is a little blocked and would benefit from a service regen using VCDS and then run it on Shell V Power, it makes a huge difference. The DPF's ash capacity

    I still have all 4 old ones, acts the same only difference i noticed the the mpg whent up by 5-8 mpg using same route daily. Changing

    There is a special tool for removing them, bent long nose pliers also work if you remember not to put too much pressure whilst pulling upwards

    As crasher has said just pulls off, there are some videos up on YouTube which are a good guide to changing it, did you go with original Audi part or spurious/oem,best
