Re: Exhaust gas temperature sensor 4

    Thank you.
Just checked under the bonnet. Not sure is genuine as the other plugs have vw/audi logo and the new sensor one is blank.

Re: Exhaust gas temperature sensor 4

The part number is 04L 906 088 DM and genuine VW these cost £180.60 retail inc. VAT so if it was genuine and including labour it is about right, maybe

    Re: Air suspension Fault

All modern VAG products are unreliable as they are so complex and loaded with tech but air suspension has always been a pain with VAG, I would not own

Brown is direct earth line 31 and brown/white earth line 31a and could be switched or from an ECU. I don’t recognise the plug, is there a part number

    Re: Air suspension Fault

Thanks for confirming. So I think I will get it recovered to the helpful main dealer and get them to fit it even if it is going to take a bit longer.

    Hi guys

    Struggling with my Passat B8.
I had my egt sensor 4 recently replaced by vw specialist due to the electrical malfunction.

    Re: Air suspension Fault

That isn’t the ETKA diagram so not sure. There is setup and coding and this can be tricky for revised controllers without the dealer system ODIS

    Air suspension Fault

It is £1975 from an Audi dealers parts department. A TPS MAY serve you and give you 10% discount BUT the TPS warranty system is a not fit for purpose joke so if you aren’t trade, buy it from Audi.
