    If the cam timing is way out, the ECU picks this up via the crank speed sensor G28 and cam position sensor G40 and can stop,the injectors opening if the

    That sensor won’t cause the problem. Do the fans run with the AC off? The gauge should reach 90 within a few minutes driving and never budge up

    Ah right[emoji53] I’ll have a look and check if it’s on right or damaged any of the pins then. Suppose that could explain why it seems as there’s no fuel

    It is possible to fit the plug incorrectly, so that as it screws in, all the pins in the head harness get flattened, don’t ask how I know…

    Yeah everything got plugged back in when I reassembled everything. The injector loom was pretty fiddly to get back on though with where it’s situated.

    That it runs with a sniff of ether shows it has compression so for some reason the injectors are not being operated, you did plug the loom in?
