    It is usually water damage and was probaly pushed over the edge by the jolt. The rack is in a daft place and becomes entombed in debris which holds water,

    It is why we refuse to do it. I broke my own rule on this over gearbox's as I wanted to do a six speed conversion, ended up pulling the "guaranteed"

    Should be OK, remember you need a diagnostic system which can show live data so you can monitor the fluid temperature.
