How do I drain and/or remove a Golf 5 radiator (2L FSI).
Hi I have a similar question. Can someone put up a how to drain/flush the radiator coolant from a Golf Mk5, 1.9tdi sport please?????????? ty loads guys:beerchug:

to drain the rad take the bottom hose off (its push fit) there is a metal horse shoe spring clip, you pull it up about 6mm and then the hose will pull out, to refit push the hose back in and push the clip down, make sure the hose cant pull out, hope this helps

Hello pil, I had a look at my radiator, and it seems it is enclosed in a plastic cover, do I have to remove this? or is there an easier more accesible way? Also will draining through this hose drain the engine block as well??
