why is my cabriolet slower than my coupe

hi, i,ve just bought a 1992 cabriolet, 2.3 5 cylinder, why does it seem a lot slower than my older 2.2 coupe i had? also, does anyone know of a decent exhaust to let that beautiful 5 cylinder sound out? thanks, lurch.

The NG catalyst engine feels a little less powerful that the KV even though they are supposed to both be 133PS and the Cabrio weighs a lot more than the coupe.

Yep ditto ,my 2002 2.4 v6 170 bhp A4 cabby would struggle to catch up with my 1995 2.6 v6 150 bhp 80 coupe as the cabby is so heavy

Always thought my 94 150bhp 2.6 V6 cabby was a bit sluggish and put it down to its age. Never thought of the extra weight though (with me personally its both!)
