I've got a problem with the passenger front seat on my cabriolet. the cable to tilt the seat forward has got too much play in it so it won't release the catch so that the seat can be tilted. The catch works ok by hand and i'm suspecting the cable has come adrift in the seat somewhere. Does anybody know how to safely remove the plastic cover on the rear of the seat so i can have a look inside. I've found the two screws on the bottom but it dosn't want to budge.
Thanks Chris.

remove the 2 screws and try to lift the panel vertically, the cable did this on my 95 coupe, it just needed a bit of tweaking

Thanks for the info. I was trying the same method last night but was afraid i was going to do some damage. It came off ok tonight and i've sorted the cable out with a cable tie. I think my cable has just stretched over the years and had just gone that little bit too far. It now works a treat.
Thanks again.
Chris.
