trouble connecting

Hi

I have a cheap lead off ebay.....

I can connect to my 1.9 tdi B5 no probs every time

but it wont connect to my 2.8 quattro B5

(it connected to the quattro once but that's it never again)

I have connected to the tdi unpluged it and pluged it into the quattro but it will not connect.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and sorted it?

i have measured voltage in pins and ground everyting ok

no after market radio fitted

Sorted now thanx.............

Just disconet the car battery for a few mins and it reset's, if anyone gets the same prob :o
