Twitching wiper arms

Hello people,

From time to time when I switch off the ignition the wiper arms twitch by about 1/2 and inch from the parked position, is this normal?

Yes it's normal. It's to prevent excess wear to the blades and reduces marks left on the windscreen I believe.

It's in the manual ;)

Thanks for the reply dude, these more modern Vdubs are not as easy to understand as all the other golfs I've owned in the past:D
